The issue
Replace basic, static dealership information with content that could hold the attention of waiting customers, explain new vehicle technology and respond quickly to changing inventory and sales opportunities.
Our response
We created animated vehicle-feature stories, integrated local news and weather, and built a custom feed that allowed the dealership team to publish news and targeted offers directly from the sales desk.
Scope
Digital signage strategy, motion content, live information integration and a custom dealer-controlled publishing system.

Problem to progress
What needed to change and how we moved it forward.
01 / The issue
Disconnected customer touchpoints
In 2012, digital signage was still an emerging retail tool. The dealership needed more than a promotional screen: it needed an experience that made time in the lobby useful, introduced customers to new Mazda technology and gave the sales team a faster way to communicate relevant offers.
02 / The response
One connected system
We transformed the available product information into animated stories highlighting vehicle features, then combined those stories with local news and weather that customers naturally followed while waiting. A custom publishing feed gave dealership staff direct control, allowing them to update news, match promotions to current stock and send timely offers to the lobby screen without relying on outside support.
03 / The outcome
A stronger foundation for growth
The system became both a customer-engagement channel and a practical sales tool. In one documented instance, the dealer recognized an opportunity with a customer waiting in the lobby, published a relevant vehicle offer from the desk and converted that interest into a sale. The content model also gave the dealership an ongoing way to keep promotions aligned with available inventory.
